Looking for some places but couldn't locate

Yeah, we had a great plan at night
to go to Takashimaya New York and Tiffany & co.
went to 53th St 5th Ave, lots shop seen there but not the both
we walked around, passed thru Rockefeller Centre, some churches, H&M, Cartier, LV, Apple, Sony and etc
but couldn't locate the both store in 1 hour.
I'm little dumb knowing that we would go there
but didnt jote down the exact address
with the thought that it will be easily seen...
my thought was wrong then we went back to Juniors
and have some dinner, the back to Studio...

I wanna get something from Tiffany & Co
I want, I hope, I'm tempted but
It's rather expensive and making me think and think again..
no fate yesterday guessed it meant don't buy better :(

Today stay at Apt have a good shower
and rest only as my hubby told me the trip extended!
Yeah, so good to hear that because I dont want to leave here
I love this place so much, a blissful place for me to relax...

Our weekend plan will still continue...
that's the New York City Pass~!
gonna explore Museums, Parks and Liberty!

Everyday it's a new life in New York City

I'm finally recovered, not fully but yet I'm happy that I recovered lastly
at least stay away from sorethroat, flu ...
After rested for 2-3days in Apt, I have full fuel to explore New York again.
but just noted that the day to return Singapore maybe getting closer. I'm feeling damn bored with that.
I wish to stay here longer, I just love the Studio apt here.
I can stay whole days and nights 365days in this apt
Just love too much...

today went out and did little shopping in toy R us
bought LeapFrog stuffs for my hubby's colleague
3 items costs about US$72. how expensive it was for kids stuff nowadays...
with US$72 = RM220 can buy lot of stuffs 20years back then.. :)
1 hour shop and I'm back to Studio, too hot and stuffy outside
these few days, NYC is so hot hot hot...
I'm missing the cooling weather
please come back before I leave :)

this weekend will be our sightseeing weekend in NYC
like Empire State, some museums, Statue of Liberty and etc.
gonna be a rush and excited weekend! Yeah...

Just Love Niagara Falls

After the Lion King show, we saw a lady on the street running with weird attire
and ppl were chasing her and screamed "GAGA" "GAGA"
was it really her? out of sudden appeared in Times Square
looks abit fat to me.. anyway, not to bother much as we arent fans of her.

my last weekend was truly exciting and sweet
we went to Niagara Falls on Sat, returned on Sun
a short trip and get away from NY City...
lucky enough, our flight ticket was fully covered by the US$500 travel voucher which was given to my hubby as one of the compensation for flight delay previously. So we save more for this trip and can spend more..
We took Continental flight to Niagara Falls and all went well..
touched down on time and lucky again we managed to catch a cheap express shuttle to our hotel
only US$1.75 per person, Airport express shuttle!

8.30am we reached and lucky once again, we got our room ready!
checked in so early for the first time and the room was good enough too
that's Crowne Plaza Niagara Falls...
and then we started our journey early to the Niagara Falls Visitor centre to collect our Discovery Pass
walked to Niagara State Park and we were so excited taking photo even just the beginning, no falls at our sight
we were truly enjoyed the breathtaking views with the cooling mist and air!
just like a new honeymoon to us again!

The first attraction was Maid of the Mists!
where we were required to wear something like Raincoats
then took a ferry ride and brought us close to the falls.. how exciting
it was really a good chance to get close to the falls for some phototaking
and enjoying the mists to the max... we got little wet!

After that, we proceeded to the observatory tower!
nice enough everything was well-organized and the waiting queue was not too long
I got cold after this and started sneezing...
the last attraction we went was Niagara Adventure Theatre.. about 40mins show
not adventurous enough and I almost fall asleep

Decided to go back to the hotel to have our lunch
which was included in the package too, such a great deal
Hotel + 2 Diccovery Pass + Lunch = US$230 ++
not to forget, we went to Hard Rock shop to purchase Putty's shirt
cant manage to get her a classic one so got her Pink Rock Shirt.

I was really sick when I reached to the restaurant for lunch
my throat was real pain enough + flu + cough
Took a warm bath and rested for 45mins
That was about 5pm we went out again to Factory Outlets
GAP, Kate Spade, Coach and Polo Lauph Lauren
we just love shopping there much!
how I wish to go there shop shop again. Everything was at a very very very good price!

For now, what I want is to recover from my sickness
Mr Flu, Mr Cough and Miss Sorethroat, please go away!

The Lion King Tonight...

Yeah, another 4 more hours we will attend the Lion King musical show in Minskoff Theatre
it should be a grand theatre I guess :)
enjoying my Ben & Jerry's one pint while waiting the time to pass faster
time past like snail today from morning till now

went to have lunch at Hubby's office
Metlife Building 200 Park Avenue
it was about 15-20mins walk, true enough and I think is quite far
so tiring walking alone and all the tall buildings above me
at first, thought I couldnt locate the building
but lucky enough, I found it.

Went to Canal St, Chinatown again
thought of getting T-shirt and Hoodies
the service is not really good though and didn't get anything from them
it's rather expensive again compared to the last time i saw
abit cheating...

nothing much to update... :)
waiting to go Niagara Falls this weekend!

Relaxing weekdays

lost count of days and cant really remember what I've done
as far as I know, I did shopping at GAP and Hard Rock NY
glad that I bought good bargains from the store
and I bought 5 tickets of the Lion King musical show at the Minskoff Theatre
cant wait to catch it tomorrow...
the tickets were very expensive US$72.50 per person, but I guess it's worth it to watch...
more about it after I watch the show.

Yesterday went to Chinatown again
looked around for the I Love NY hoodies and T shirts.
might buy at there because the quality are nicer than the streets are selling
I went to Apple Store and Miu Miu too
glad to see Miu Miu bag that I love so much
selling US$1200++ and the other one US$1400++
both I love it and I'm not sure is that cheap compares to SG
for Apple store, the thing I love to see of course Ipad selling from U$499. Cheap or not? I'm not sure too

lots of the stuff need to do some comparison against the price selling in GNC
like skincare, comestics, electronic goods, clothes and others
dropped by at GNC yesterday.. wow it's really 50% discount compares to the price I bought in SG!
need to throw my GNC membership card and start stocking up my supplements here
like Fish Oil selling at US$9.99 only... Melatonin US$4.99... (for grandma).. Vitamin C $7.99
I found something interesting which is Cranberry Extract supplement to avoid UTI
guess I will buy it because I got this bacteria before and it was so suffering.

I'm going to Niagara Fall this weekend.
so glad that my hubby got a complimentary US$500 from Continental Airlines
as a compensation for the delay of his flight from Geneva to New York previously
and we managed to get the air ticket at US$480, there's still a balance US$20 lasts for a year!
hahahaha... There are many outlet shops in Niagara Falls! I cant wait to shop at there!
Any order let me know, but I cant promise that I will get an exactly same model that you're looking for.
but if you don mind, roughly that designs that let me know...

New York Days

Day 1

I reached JFK Airport Terminal 4 on time 2.30pm, 8th Sept. The immigration queue was too long and queued for almost close to 2 hours then my turn. Alright, everything went smooth and got my luggage from the belts. that's about 4.30pm, cant imagine lots of ppl coming from anywhere of the world to New York. There are 7 terminals all together if i'm correct. Okay then I proceeded to somewhere for declaration of them items in my luggages. Smooth and went to look for Ground Transportation, GO AIRLINK. I have booked this shuttle in advanced before I came, and the pick up supposely at 3.05pm. Found them and they resheduled my pick up to be 5pm. After waited a while, the shuttle came... quite comfortable with huge space seat. Then, went around the terminals to pick up others 7 passengers. Here I reached 1600 Broadway at around 6.30pm... I was so exhausted and going to faint. Taken a hot shower to ease my jetlag...

Around 7pm, finally my Hubby was home from work. Happy to see his smiling face! and good enough he ordered food delivery to our studio. I enjoyed the dinner much although I ate little and lastly I had a rested sleep...

Day 2

Woke up at 3am suddenly and disturbed my hubby to wake up and chit chat with me. There were so much things to catch up and we chit chat till 4am... continued our Zzzzzz! I was too excited to explore NYC, guessed that was why I woke up suddenly. Can't really slept well; the neons, huge big TV lights, flashing lights, big Ad and etc made our studios so brightly feel even switched off all the lights. The studio apartment was big enough and I love the beds! kitchen cabinets! huge bath tub! and the unforgettable clothes dryers! It was so convenient to use which made me washing my clothes one or twice a day...

Nothing much I had done. Woke up too early and I took my nap in the evening till 5pm. In between, I ate breakie and plan where to explore during the weekends :) Dinner and then we strolled around the Times Square, Broadway, H&M, Macy...

Day 3

Same thing, guessed I needed recovery so much from my jetlag. Most of the time I had my afternoon nap till 5.30pm. Haha... still piggy! At night, we walked to K-Town = Korean Town! the street was full with Korean shops, restaurants, karaoke and of course Koreans! we had our dinner in one of the typical Korean restaurant which recommended by ppl. Errrmm... not so suit us as the food are rawwww! and if cooked, there's alot intestinal organs...yucks!

Macy's! The world largest departmental store... my hubby did some shopping at Tommy Hilfiger! but not for me as it almost closed... It's alright, I will definately come back during my weekdays...

Day 4

Explore City Day! It was 11 Sept too. We took the subway to somewhere called Prince Street where SOHO located at. Too early, no shops were open at all. Even so hard to find a cafe/deli to have breakfast... Got a yellow cab and headed down to Canal St. Chinatown. The driver dropped us in front of a restaurant. Okay not bad, it served Dim Sum...! Cheap enuf also. Prices vary from $2, $2.50, $3, $3.50 and so on. Only 50 cents difference for each category.

Took the subway again.. and this time round, we planned to drop by Ground Zero to see "Moment of Silence". Quite rush to all destinations in Lower Mahattan. I'll definately go back again to Trinity Church, NYSE, Ground Zero on one of the weekends. I wanted to take more photoes!

It was a very sunny day. so tired to walk around and explore. After lunch, we went back to SOHO then dropped by Brooklyn Bridge. I was getting low bat after Brooklyn Bridge and so we headed home.

Day 5

Visited Flatiron Building, Museum of Sex, Metropolitan Insurance Building, Madison Square Park, Bryant Park and half of New York National Library..it was raining. Found shelter at H&M, and we did shopping again! Rain still after shopping, we headed to one of the cafe to sip some hot chocolates and big cupcakes!

That's all for the first week! Pictures uploaded in FB :))

More great days ahead.. The Lion King Musical Show, Niagara Falls, Statue of Liberty, Empire State, and many more to come!!!

First time in Dubai Airport!

yeah, great time I vommited at their washroom once I stepped to Dubai Airport. hahaha! so san fu...
and the first store I visited is Pharmacy! my luck...
after rested for 1 hour and felt better
I walked around, the place was so crowded; bit like night market
everywhere you walk, you will hit on someone's shoulder
and everyone was so in rush...

Here were some pictures I've captured. More in FB.

McD

My Earl Grey Tea and Blueberry Muffin
how I wish so much to eat their kebab, drinks, and lebanese food there but too bad.....

Duty Free Shop

From KL to SG then ...

a tiring journey started from 7th sept
with Jetstar, I reached Singapore at around 7.30pm
then gladly that Vinson and Caylene looked for me and accompanied me to have dinner
had a chit chat session till around 10.30pm
proceeded to Emirates counter for checked in, smooth and fast because the counter just opened.
after checked in, bid goodbye to Caylene and Vinson then passed thru the customs.

wondering around at the Changi Airport Terminal 1 from 11pm till 1.15pm
boarded the plane, window seat.
about 1.45am, the flight took off gracely.
it's my first time experienced with Emirates
I could say how wonderful and unforgettable too!
Cant imagine this happens to me again...
guess what.. at around 3am they served supper
and I chose Roast beef! the meal arrived and the roast beef, bread, cheese is cold enough
I ate it without any doubt...

out of sudden, i got sick!
Yes, I really sick and so suffered in the flight
from SG to Dubai took about 7hours 30minutes
my stomach was so upset and wanted to go to washroom all the time.
couldnt had a sleep during this moment
watch movie, listen music?? no i didnt have the mood to do that

wondering why this happened to me again.
I forced myself to be strong and 2 more hours to go...
feeling nausea and wanted to vomit.. bad situation!
my mind kept popping question like
could I continue fly to NYC?
should I stay a night in Dubai hotel? Need Visa for stayover?
could Emirates schedule another flight for me?
will all this costs be covered under travel insurance?

At this point of time, i was so helpless.
thought of sms my hubby but couldn't as well; still on plane
finally, i reached dubai! straight to their washroom and VOMMMIT!!!
so weakly and needed so much someone to help
but all strangers to me, who will help me
tried to be strong and queue in the Emirates First Class transit counter
to request them to change for my seating for next flight
which I chose window seat earlier on
luckily, the rearranged me a seat which was near washroom and with lots of legroom!
then I sought help from them to arrange a doctor; the lady advised me if I want to arrange, it will take some time for doc to come. then, she directed me to Pharmacy which after the security screening

I knew what medicine I want, Nausea, Diarhorea, Stomach Pain
so careless that I didnt bring with me at all
it's with my hubby's luggage... alright, costs me UAE$ 44.50!
then I ate the medicine, felt better after an hour later.

Lastly, I was on the flight to New York!

2 more days to go...

Yeah, 2 more days to go..
I will be flying back to Singapore then to NYC
heard from my hubby who is in Geneva now that he might needs to extend 3 days stay
how sad to hear the changes everytime
Then i will be alone in NYC first for few days
but luckily one of his lady colleague will be arrive on schedule, no extension
being told by hubby, i might need to stay with her first and she doesnt mind
thanks for such arrangement, if not i guess i need to look for hotels around the area.
Excited of course!

I had 3 karaoke sessions this time in KL and Genting
surprisingly some sessions we sang 1-1.5 hours more
no one chase us out then we continued sang
No movie for this time round
guess the movies now, cant catch up interest to watch and no partner to watch with
so far I met up with Alex, Rose, and Putty these few days
had a great chat with them too
Glad that we catched up again and wonder when will be the next

Time passed really fast
I thought I could spend more time in KL
but now only left 2 days and i'm going to airport again
need to pack my luggage again and make sure everything well prepared
I can see you soon lo...!
and receive all the gifts you bought for me in Geneva...
hahaha thanks lovely hubby!
